Global Analytical Laboratories
Global Analytical Laboratories was established in November 2014 in order to analyze building and insulation materials for the presence of asbestos. This includes loose-fill insulation, acoustic and thermal spray, pipe and boiler wrap, plaster, paint, flooring, roofing and cementitious materials. Global Analytical Laboratories performs all necessary procedures to identify asbestos and attain an accurate percentage for the provided sample. Our comprehensive quality assurance approach ensures result integrity. We take immense pride in our high degree of scrutiny and maintain a personal obligation to our clients to provide dependable results.
Global Analytical Laboratories is NIST/NVLAP accredited and laboratory management has successfully completed an intensive course in Advanced Asbestos Identification provided by the McCrone Research Institute in Chicago, Illinois. Laboratory management actively researches asbestos and other minerals as well as new laboratory policies and techniques.
Global Analytical Laboratories employs current, published, and recognized methods for polarized light microscopy (PLM) analysis. All methods adhere to those outlined in the 1993 Method for the Determination of Asbestos in Bulk Building Materials (EPA/600/R-93/116). New techniques developed in the future by published microscopists, respected laboratories, and the EPA will be carefully considered and added to our procedures if deemed appropriate.
